If you fly United at least once a year with a companion, the $160 baggage fee coverage.
$40 per bag x 2 per way x 2 person = $160 baggage fee.
Credits include $200 United Travel credit + $100 ($8/month) rideshare credit + 10,000 miles discount on award booking can help offset the $350 annual fee. These credits are useful if you fly United at least twice a year.
Notes
United Airlines points are not as valuable as other airlines, like Alaska Airlines or American Airlines points.
The $150 hotel credit is only for “Renowned Hotels and Resorts” which typically are more expensive. Must book stays through Chase’s luxury hotel platform.
The $80 rental card credit is only on Avis or Budget rentals broken up to 2 times per year.
