Our Hotel Review
InterContinental Barclay for best VIP Treatment.
From the moment we walked in, they escorted us to the VIP check in desk and offered early 10am check in, room upgrade, 4pm late check out, and discounted access to their lounge all without asking. Truly a VIP experience. And their bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel.
Hotel Indigo Lower East Side for best view.
Manhattan skyline has never looked so beautiful during the day and at night from the corner room upgrade they gave us. The view point of the room made the Freedom Tower looked perched on a hill.
Hotel Indigo Lower East Side for best location.
Situated in Manhattan Lower East Side, the hotel was close to everything we wanted from good eats to shopping. Chinatown was a 15 minute walk and Little Italy was just across the street. After a good meal, shopping was plentiful in the area.
Kimpton Theta and Voco Times Square for best hotel lobby.
The lobby area was so enjoyable and lay back at both at Kimpton Theta and Voco Times Square. The color theme they used at each hotel made the hotel common area unique and stand out. Kimpton Theta has the modern vibe and Voco Times Square as the outdoor greenhouse feeling. Very unique to each hotel.
Hyatt Regency JFK for best value.
Although all the hotels for this week were booked with free nights awards and points, Hyatt Regency didn't change us extra for anything. They had no resort fees and was truly free.
Our favorite hotel was... It's was a tossed up between InterContinental Barclay and Hotel Indigo Lower East Side.
InterContinental Barclay was the most luxurious and had the best service. Plus we got club lounge access.
Hotel Indigo Lower East Side had the best room view and it was close to Chinatown and shopping.
