Southwest Airlines
The Southwest Companion Pass is a premier travel benefit allowing a designated person to fly with you for free (plus taxes/fees from $5.60) on any Southwest flight for the remainder of the year earned plus the entire following year. It requires earning 135,000 qualifying points or flying 100 qualifying one-way flights per calendar year.
Alaska Airlines
The Alaska Airlines Companion Fare is an annual benefit for Atmos™ Rewards Ascent Visa Signature® cardholders and Atmos™ Rewards Visa® Business Cardholders that allows a companion to fly with them for a base fare of $99, plus taxes and fees starting at $23. The pass, earned annually upon account anniversary, after $6000 prior spend minimum and can be used on any Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines flight, including in main cabin or saver fares, provided both travelers are on the same itinerary.
The Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Card offers a 25,000-point Global Companion Award annually upon card anniversary, providing a 25,000-point discount on a companion's award ticket on Alaska, Hawaiian, and partner airlines. It has no spending requirement for the annual award, but a 25,000-point bonus is also part of the welcome offer.
Hawaiian Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines offers a 50% off or $100 annual companion discount for World Elite Mastercard and Business Mastercard holders on coach, round-trip flights between Hawaii and North America. These vouchers now also apply to flights operated by Alaska Airlines, providing expanded travel options to Canada and Mexico.
American Airlines
The Citi® / AAdvantage® Globe™ Mastercard® offers an annual companion certificate upon account renewal for $99 (plus taxes and fees), allowing a companion to travel in the main cabin on domestic flights within the lower 48 states. This mid-tier card, with a $350 annual fee, requires no minimum spend for the certificate
Delta Airlines
The Delta Companion Pass (Companion Certificate) is an annual benefit for Delta SkyMiles Platinum and Reserve American Express cardholders, awarded upon card renewal. It allows a companion to fly round-trip for just taxes and fees ($22–$250) on eligible Delta flights within the U.S., Mexico, Caribbean, and Central America, excluding Basic Economy.
